McLean Furniture Gallery has been serving the home décor and interior design needs of those in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond since 1984. We proudly represent 40+ manufacturers including heritage American furniture houses, providing our clientele with a range of styles to shop while never compromising on quality. DC Modern Luxury Magazine recognized McLean Furniture Gallery as the "Best Furniture Store" for their inaugural Best Of DC list for 2021.
We have positioned the Gallery as an omni-channel resource of home furnishing as we offer Furniture, Lighting, Accessories, Rugs, and Custom Window Treatments. We also provide Interior Design Services to clients as they aim to furnish a new house or simply redecorate a favorite room of their home.
Our Founder
Tehmina Khan’s career in Design began 50 years ago with her eponymous haute couture line. Her pieces were carried by Saks Fifth Avenue, Woodward & Lothrop, and Garfinckel's, with sales across the United States, Middle East, and South Asia. Her focus later shifted from runways to interiors, leading to her founding of McLean Furniture Gallery in 1984 with her husband, Imran Khan.
Under her vision and leadership, McLean Furniture Gallery has become a premier center of interior design in the Washington, D.C. area. Previous clients include heads of state, corporate executives, government officials, and public figures. In recognition for her contributions to the furniture industry, Harden and Henredon, two iconic American furniture manufacturers with a combined history of 250 years, created and named furniture in her honor.
